The drawing of this dress concretely influenced the direction in which my life was heading. While watching the 2019 Met Gala with my mom I had ran out of ideas to draw and decide to sketch a dress. Quickly becoming entranced I flushed out details and drew late into the night. This would develop into being a heightened fixation that consumed every moment of the next week. I can remember rushing to each class so that I could pull out my iPad and continue drawing.
